Happiness beyond hot delicious cookies

Outstanding on all levels !!!!!! The hotel shuttle was prompt right on time to the airport .The rooms were spacious and clean .The shower had a chair in case you had too many beers . The beds were so comfortable after that many beers . The breakfast was incredible and our waitress Regina was one of the best we have ever had . The pub was a nice atmosphere and boy could they rock a triple vodka . All the meals we tried over three days were top notch including the full bowl of soup . The heated pool and hot tub were so great and sitting area with fire pit was top notch . Location is so good with a store across the road with Ray Ray selling you booze and cigarettes . People who dont like this place are whiny babies .Enjoy your stay in Arizona as we did

Consider staying elsewhere

All of my favorite parts of the hotel are in the common areas. Very cool sunken conversation pit with fireplace. Perfect for enjoying your Double Tree cookie. Nice water feature with beautiful flowers, cacti, and what looked like a kumquat tree. Strong communal, retro vibe. Positives end there for me. The rooms are dated and in disrepair. Strands of hair on the bathroom ceiling. Additionally, I needed to call and then follow up for assistance immediately after checking in because the toilet had issues. The walls are thin and you can hear all the activities happening poolside. However, the worst of all is how unsafe/uncomfortable I felt with housekeeping. While I was in the room resting with the provided magnetic “do not disturb” sign affixed prominently on the metal door, housekeeping knocked on my door and then ENTERED my room at about 2:45 PM. I then heard them ask if they could service our room. Absolutely not. That is why we have placed the provided sign on the door. And at this hour?! I did not feel comfortable leaving anything of value in my room at that point. I do not recommend this property. I also had a concern with how my bill looked upon check out (not receiving appropriate Hilton credits and inaccuracy of daily charges) and am working with Hilton’s customer service to address. Please stay somewhere else. Besides being centrally located to ASU, it is not worth staying here. You have other choices.

This place is very old, the rooms and the furniture are not in a good shape. This hotel need an urgent general refresh. It is not worth the price.

Weekend Getaway for Two

We’ve been coming to the Fiesta Inn and Resort (that was a decade ago) now the DoubleTree By Hilton for years. It’s such a wonderful place for us. The rooms are big, with tubs in the bathroom. I love a soaking bath. The pool and hot tub are a nice amenities to use after a long day of golf or touring the sites.
I give a 4 star because the place is exactly what we want and like. The only thing I would suggest is that the reception be a nicer. It just seemed like one person was always short and in a bad mood. We gave her the benefit of the doubt with the first interaction but it continued through the stay.
The bar/restaurant was so freaking fun and the bartender was sweet. She had a smile every time we saw her.

Hope you like cold showers every day

Cold showers every day. Non-draining bathtubs. Ripped furniture. Broken door safety latches. Massive noise in the early hours from garbage trucks and leaf blowers. I could hear everything my neighbor did and every time someone took an elevator it was like being in an MRI machine. I travel 1-2 times per month for work and this was the single worst experience I’ve had at a hotel. I even switched rooms and same problems. Terrible - 0/10 do not recommend.
