Great stay in downtown

The Hyatt Centric is well-located in downtown, and has a relaxed lobby with a bar that is worth the visit for sure! The breakfast is terrific, and we enjoyed everything about our two-night stay.
I really enjoyed the room, very clean and comfortable.

Great experience!

I am a world of Hyatt member but have never stayed at a Centric before but after this stay, I would actively seek to stay at Centrics. I feel like they’re the equivalent of a Marriott Moxy but sooo much nicer. Room was super nice and big, and super clean. Hotel overall was clean and easy to get around. Great location of downtown Portland, easy walking distance to everything . Staff was super helpful and nice . Great stay !

Great hotel, clean, very nice employees. Great food in the bar. Walking distance to the concert venue we attended. My only complaint about the room was no air movement. Felt like a prison cell almost because of all the concrete. Definitely need stronger fans or something for more air movement.

Ok stay

Overall not a bad place to stay, it’s quiet, the street is usually very peaceful. The hotel includes free breakfast which is decent. Rooms are spacious. Staff is pleasant and helpful. That’s the good
If you’re ok staying in a place that’s visibly dirty then this is your hotel, the carpets in the hallway have hairballs so big they look like tumble weeds, I’ve walked from my room to the elevator and the same debris remains on the dirty carpet. The decor, carpets, curtains are all dark and it’s to conceal the dirt and stains. There was a nasty dried out booger on the wall by the nightstand.
I requested extra pillows and they came looking dingy and one had an eyelash left over from the previous user. I’ll never stay here again. I wiped down the room and yes, closed my eyes and with 15 tissues removed the dry booger, I just couldn’t keep catching it in the corner of my eye. Ugh .
Nice place but 1 time is plenty, I’ll pay a little extra next time if it means booger free walls.

Great location with easy access to TriMet. Hotel operated resturant is just okay.

Hyatt Centric has great staff and is a fantastic place to stay. It's located in a convenient area with easy access to TriMet. However, beware of Covet.PDX, which operates within Hyatt Centric. Even when the restaurant is not busy, they may forget your to-go order—even if you placed it in person. The staff might be too busy chatting with their friends at the bar. The waitress may fail to submit your order to the kitchen, delaying its preparation.
