Solid Location and Decent Breakfast
My corner room had a great view of the Philly skyline. The kitchen took up a good amount of space. The only downside was that the dishes and silverware needed a good cleaning. It's clear that they aren't washed between guests. The bathroom was spacious with a large shower.
Breakfast was included with the room rate and very popular. I really liked the Greek yogurt bar with various toppings. There were also several hot dishes that changed daily such as scrambled eggs, French toast sticks and silver dollar pancakes.
The gym was surprisingly good with a lot of machines and a dumbbell rack. I didn't have too much interaction with the staff, but front desk agents were a little on the aloof side. Their housekeepers were much friendlier.
The Element can be significantly cheaper than the W hotel on the upper floors of the same building. If I return to Philly, I'd definitely consider staying here again.
