The hotel rooms are in dire need of significant updates. While the rooms are decent, they show noticeable signs of wear and tear. The restroom's shower head and shower door crevices were rusted and unclean, making it clear that the bathrooms require substantial upgrades or a total makeover. The mattress was old and emitted an unpleasant corn chip smell when used. Additionally, the furniture and carpet in the room could have benefited from a thorough shampooing.
Thank goodness I only stayed here for two nights. Next time, I’ll stay in Lafayette instead of Opelousas, as the hotels there are much better maintained compared to those in Opelousas.

My room was old, room need repairs on walls, shade, and the God-Awful Smell of Cigarette smoke in the room! Good location and amenities Ok.

The door to the room was hanging down. I had to physically lift it to close it. The coffee pot did not work. The room had bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower. The shampoo bottle was empty. I pulled the spare toilet tissue off of the little shelf by the sink. Behind it was a receipt from a previous guest dated 4 days prior to my stay as well as a piece of trash

The room was dirty. Long hair everywhere and trash cans were filthy. No hot water and sliding glass door for shower was not stay clothes. One day did not have towels replenished. Chair had dark stained fabric. I was there to visit my Mom in the hospital for 3!days could not wait to leave. Also, under fridge there was broken particle board all underneath like it had not been vacuumed in a long time. Another guest I spoke to at breakfast said they had a huge roach. Therefore,
when I returned home I had to wash all of my unworn clothing. I would never recommend this place and I am a Friend and family honors member. My business partner owns a Hilton Garden Inn and I know their standards expected. I hope this review helps to better accommodate their customers!
