The guest house feels bright, clean and exceptionally well-cared for. The room I stayed in had a comfortable mattress and a good shower.

I could hear every step of the person in the room above me which became quite annoying. Sound insulation in the floor could be better. Struggled to close the curtains and when I opened them one hook became detached. Apart from that all fine.

Once again had a pleasant overnight stay at Balham Lodge. I was a returning customer. The decor is fresh and attractively decorated and both my room and the reception areas were spotlessly clean. Altogether it makes for a comfortable stay.
