Disappointing. I believed country house, dining, sleeping, lounge facility. Everything separate, steep steps. Parking not defined well enough. Restaurant not 4 star. Whole experience is strange. More a resort, lodges etc. beautiful scenery. Necessary to walk outside for lounge, restaurant etc.

Needs big improvements
After over a month of waiting for a manager to get back to us it's time to share our reviews.
Greeting was average, a little stand off followed by, here's a map, follow this line, not expected with the cost of a suite.
The room, was great with some lovely features, however 2 sugars and 2 tea bags seemed a little tight, it was a warm night but unable to open the windows as it stank of weed, which only got worse as it was heavy in the hallways and outside for our whole stay. We mentioned this with a number of other guests complaining and we just got a shrug and advised someone would contact us, this never happened.
Food was ok, nothing special.
Location was nice, relaxing.
Would only go back with some massive improvements

Beautiful location, amazing hotel, Superb food. Breakfast especially was 10 out of 10. All staff were friendly and polite. Would love to return for another visit, highly recommended.

Just go somewhere else!
Terrible! Under or overcooked tasteless food with out of date children's drinks. Staff didn't know the difference between veggie and vegan and the service was so slow that nobody even came to take payment until we got up and put our coats on. I haven't been this disappointed at a restaurant in a long time.
Who offers (undercooked) vegan risotto as an alternative to a Sunday roast?!
I contacted the restaurant to complain and they apologised for making my daughter ill and even offered a refund. I'm still waiting so they also lied to me. Avoid at all costs! There are much better places to eat in the area.

Great food and service
We went to Blossoms for a birthday lunch . The menu was very good and service very friendly . We were served by Nicola .
Great vegetarian choices and brilliant desserts .
We had sticky toffee pudding , lemon tart and affogato . All very good
The pea soup for starter was very good too.
