Good hotel
Very good location and the breakfast spread is very good.
Good restaurant options and nearby shopping areas are additional attractions.
Recommend this hotel and a good value for money with excellent facilities

Disappointing service
We were told we could only order cake and croissants which we then did.
Our boss complained and our savoury order was taken, although 2 remained with the croissant option.
After 20 minutes we asked how long as we were on a deadline and was told the chef was yet to have the order called to him.
Upon arrival the club sandwich was missing the bacon and the salmon Caesar wraps were missing the Parmesan cheese. Due to the time limitations we did not have time to complain or have it rectified.
Highly disappointing.

Beautiful hotel, fraying in places, but ovearll a good experience
The rooms are large, well provisioned with slippers, iron, safe etc. Alas, the age and normal wear and tear are visible: some electrical plugs don't work, and on the first morning, i woke up to a leak in the bathroom from the room above and all my things were soaked. The hotel changed me to a "beautiful suite" which turned out to have no natural light as it faced inwards to the hotel interior. It was a delight in size, but had no desk, the outlets next to the table were not working, and the lack of light made it feel like a closet. I think many of the suites are facing inwards, so if you like natural light, don't accept their offer of an upgrade to a suite.
After some frustration, i changed rooms again and finally was happy with a room that had functioning plugs, a small window and everything else i need. I think part of the hotel is under renovation because i accidentally went to another floor by stairs, and it was completely pitch black.
Admittedly i dreaded reading that the hotel has separate gyms for men and women, as the womens' gym is always worse than the mens. But in this case, the gym was more than adequate with 5-6 technogym weight pulleys, including for abs, arms, and so on, and enough cardio machines .AND it is open 24 hours, a plus! The pool is on the rooftop (7th floor) , heated, and around 18 meters long.
I didn't eat in the hotel, mainly because there was a good selection of fast food , restaurants, and cafes two blocks from the hotel. Overall, given the hotel's service recovery after my rooms incidents, i think i would probably return here again if i have to come back to Jeddah.

Magnificent Staff with Great Location
From the check in at front desk Mr. Tarik was very helpful and great personality and very friendly and he makes an excellent upgrade to very huge suite
The staff within 5 minutes brought our baggage to our suite and they brought a great welcoming of sweet and big basket of fruits
At 7th floor they have a great dinner at executive lounge with magnificent staff specially Mrs Jean and the chef farhan who really arranged delicious and fresh soup for my little kid
It’s really one of my favorites hotels in Jeddah

1st and last
This hotel practises a double standard treatment. 1st impressions that matters.
My suggestion, need to have a thorough customer care training.
Room was merely dirty and dusty.
Your dim sum for breakfast is pethetic.. How can a dim sum filling with herbs.. Learn carefully the recipe.. Don't simply bunk everything like a trash.
