good

My room did not have a window, this is the only downside. Coffee and tea and cookies are available for free, the room was quiet, the hotel is in the city center, many cafes and shops around, close to free bus line.

Hostel cancelled fully paid booking without any notify when still has rooms

Booked hotel 10 days earlier and sent few messages different days to them with all details reminder but no reply. Night arrived and hotel is not located in map and building is too old very run down. Searched around the area and found it's totally different place. Check in, Malay guy very rudely said no details of booking and full. He refused to lend his land line phone so I had to use my phone and spoked to agoda for 2 hours in 10 calls but agoda can't find hotel replacement at this area, even in town. I call police and then he start to lend his land line phone. 4 hours later still can't a hotel and heard that I am forced to look into expensive hotel, he told me that he has a room share toilet or bathroom at double price. The shared toilet bathroom is very dirty. The tiny room bed spring felt very hard sleep and hard pillow. Beware hotel will cancel booking for higher price bookings and walk in. This location too rural is 40 mins by grab car to town and too difficult to find grab or any transport. I saw many people bookings were cancelled too that night when they arrived.

Worse!

It was a terrible stay. We paid for a standard room that should had had an AC but ended up with just begging for fan. Yes BEG, why? The AC was not working in a windowless room we kept asking them to fix it, and we literally had to wait until 1am to be given a standfan to use in a room that was filled with the stench of cigarette. If you are not desperate a room. Please don't stay here. Their rooms are not actually cheap, they have the same price of the surrounding hotels which unfortunately were all fully booked during our visit.

Big Room with A Good Price

I was here with 5 of my friends, and stay in their double room. Got two queen bed, which is quite comfy. Near with Sg. Nibong Bus Station and Tapak Pesta Penang. Just a walking distance. And have a few restaurant near to this hotel. Should be ok to plan for a few night stay at this hotel.
