The lighter the skin the friendlier the younger women are to guests. They even smile but not to everyone. I arrived and had to ask for complimentary punch but only I had to ask because every1 else around me was another race and was greeted as should be and at breakfast my server never came back to table but came back constantly to the table next to us who were loud and made their own table that over crowded ours. You would think if she gave them refills on drinks she would offer me and my husband the same but No because she was too into the other table . I did complain but of course I didn't hear anything because why would I when I am only a black woman. The hotel is in a great place offers great food and the rooms are decent with a beautiful setting of pool and outdoor spa. Other than the young women lack of treating everyone the same it is a nice hotel. Please hotel staff do not make a fake apology because I made a review because it will be fake and it's ok. Hire better and teach better because no matter the color of person everyone who books pays the same prices and your rooms are not cheap.. Than you ..

We checked in late but Camille (the front desk receptionist) was courteous and welcoming with a kind smile. Check in was easy breezy and our room was neat and clean as expected. The Spanish Court has updated the lobby and sitting area on the first floor, it looks very modern and it’s also comfortable. I appreciate the oversized books on the tables.
Breakfast the next morning was so yummy and delicious.
Deandre was helpful and answered all my questions .
I called the hotel front desk regarding a late return for check-out, I spoke with Moya and she was very understanding and helpful.
Overall I would stay at the Spanish Court in Kingston again in a heartbeat.
The overall staff was professional, welcoming, and kind.
We will be returning to the Spanish Court in Kingston in 2 weeks. See you soon ; )

The S Hotel in Kingston used to be called the Spanish Court Hotel, which is helpful to know for your driver! It is a lovely hotel off Trafalgar Road, so within walking distance to Devon House (for delicious patties, bakery items, and even sit-down restaurants). Across the street is a grocery store for fruit and snacks, etc.
Our room rate included breakfast, which was wonderful! It saved us time (and money). It was buffet style with Jamaican fare, and also scrambled eggs/toast. Some mornings I ordered an omelet, which was also included.
Inside our room we had a mini frig. Bottled water was included the first day, and then we used our Brita water bottles to purify the tap water as needed. We also had a small single serve K-cup coffee machine with Blue Mountain coffee--very nice.
The bathroom had a garden style tub, amenities (shampoo/conditioner, bath gel, soap, and lotion), and was spacious.
Our room was on the 3rd floor (top floor) and we had floor to ceiling windows with pull-down shades (for the morning sun/heat) as well as curtains. We slept well. Very quiet.
The pool area is very nice and for guests only. There is also a hot tub (rectangle shaped, so very large). You can order food and drinks from the pool bar. On the bar is complimentary infused chilled water.
Overall, a very nice first impression and stay at S Hotel in Kingston.
