Luxurious accomodation in the heart of the city

This is our 3rd visit to Woodies Bleisure , Calicut. In a day and age where it is very hard to find consistently great service, this hotel which is a stone's throw away from the railway station is surely an exception. With spacious well appointed rooms combined and great maintenance standards, this property has become my family's favourite whenever we visit the city. The breakfast spread is elaborate and has an menu that appeals to both kids and adults alike making it a meal to look forward to every morning. The staff are all courteous and warm. Housekeeping and room service are very prompt in doing their duty. A special mention to the hotel 's GM Mr. Rajesh who takes special interest and care in checking on the guests making the stay very memorable. Thank you team Woodies for the wonderful experience we have every time we visit. We hope to be back again soon.

Rocky Start but Excellent Recovery by the Staff

Our overall experience at the hotel was good, but it had a rocky start. Upon check-in, we were given a disability accessible room, which was in poor condition. The floor was dusty, and there were no amenities provided. This was quite disappointing and not what we expected at all.
However, after bringing this issue to the attention of the staff, they promptly changed our room upon request. The new room was much better – clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. This room met our expectations and contributed significantly to improving our stay.
Despite the initial inconvenience, the staff's responsiveness and willingness to rectify the situation were commendable. It showed their commitment to ensuring a positive guest experience.
Overall, while our stay began with some hiccups, it ended on a much more positive note thanks to the helpful staff and the quality of the second room. We appreciate the efforts made to resolve the issue and would consider staying here again, hoping for a smoother experience next time.
Would recommend management to check rooms for cleanliness and amenities to avoid such issues in the future.

Hotel Stay

Stayed for a day at the hotel. Disappointed. Big room but no hooks in the bathroom. The restaurant was the biggest sore point. Breakfast is served at 8am only. Even then, actually all ready to go by 8:25 only when all counters operational. Few Tea cups available and then you have serve yourself in paper cups. Shoddy service in the restaurant. However, food was tasty. This place need lots to go to be in a class.

Good hotel to stay with

Reception is welcoming. Rooms are clean and spacious. Housekeeping is excellent.call service are also attended promptly. Breakfast service very good so far as service and taste is concerned though spread is limited.
Cons:Restaurant service for dinner was felt unwelcoming. They ask for order as if they are in hurry even though it is not crowded. Taste is ok. But service requires improvement.after taking order or after serving food they are not seen nearby.

Decent Place To Stay In The Heart Of Kozhikode

Decent hotel in the heart of the town. Rooms and bathroom were clean. Staff were courteous. Quite a large spread available for breakfast.
The rooms have a reasonably strong scent due to some kind of perfume / Ittar (Possibly released through the a/c vent or sprayed in the room), something I didn`t particularly like.
