Perfect.

Great choice!!! Clean room and very comfortable. Warm throughout the day. Right in the heart of Makrinitsa with a fantastic view as you have Volos at your feet. The hosts very kind and hospitable people!! It was all great!!

An Inn from a Fairytale

This is the second time that we've had the privilege of staying at Charis Guesthouse. Our first experience was so exceptional that we actually planned a group trip around the beautiful village of Makrinitsa and staying with Charoula, who is the greatest, warmest host anyone could ever hope for. We were traveling with students from my school and she took care of all of us as though we were her own family: feeding us, helping us arrange a daytrip, taking care of our laundry... she is the Greek mother we always wanted.
The guesthouse itself is comfortable, romantic, beautifully renovated and extremely well-suited for a large group like ours to have both privacy as well as areas to congregate, such as the night we all ate on the terrace overviewing the village square. I can't wait to go back.

EXCELLENT SERVICE

Very helpful staff with a smile and always at our disposal
They guided us to the places we wanted to go and were very accommodating
The breakfast was complete and delicious.
The rooms are bright with a wonderful view and spotlessly clean.
The price is very good for its facilities

Great accommodation but even greater hospitality!

It felt literally like home. The hosts were amazing, very friendly, from arrival to departure they were always there for recommendations, advice and even a friendly chit chat! Location was GREAT, right in the center of Makrinitsa, close to all the taverns and local shops with view of the mountains and city of Volos. Not to mention that Mrs. Chara’s homemade pies for breakfast were second to none! Lastly, the room we booked was cozy, clean and sun kissed in the morning!
