Lovely room with lots of nice features. No lifts and was on the top floor. Reception only managed at certain times but not a problem.

Clean hotel, good location.
Very challenging check-out. Due to a miscommunication I found myself unaware of their early morning exit route, instead having to exit through the basement. The manager was apologetic afterwards.
The room was dark with insufficient lighting, and the bedding too small. Noise from the corridor and stairs until 1am. Hardly slept.
Not great, but the location is ideal.

The hotel, location and staff is amazing. The problem in my room (Rudolf Diesel) was that there was no door in the box of the shower, the bathroom had water spread everywhere after taking a shower. Also there is a uncovered part of the window that trow a lot of light directly in our face starting on 5AM. We had to sleep upside down to avoid that light.

Stunning boutique hotel
Such a beautiful hotel. Great location. Gottlieb Daimler room was simply stunning. Very clean. I would def stay again if I was near this location. Disappointed that the restaurant was open during my stay. It felt strange that the hotel was not manned during my stay but I was given clear instructions on how to obtain my key on arrival. It would be helpful with more lights when entering through the back of the hotel.

So cozy and exquisite
We recently stayed few days and everyone made us feel at home. The room we stayed (Daimler) was very simple/minimalistic (clean) cute and cozy at the same time.
If you stay here make sure you make plans to go to the Michelin starred restaurant in the same place (or their French restauran a block away)
Bianca (Nico’s wife) keeps the place running and Nico keeps the good food going.
Pack light if you are staying in the Daimler room (Top floor) since there is no elevator
Bear in Mind this is a boutique hotel with limited staff, there are other rooms in the lower levels.

Our reception is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays and check-in takes place with a code via our key box. You will receive the code by email at least one day before your arrival. Check-in times from Wednesday to Saturday are 3:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and on Sundays from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Please note that we do not have an elevator in our building and do not offer breakfast. After booking, you will receive a mobile number that you can use to contact us at any time in urgent cases. We have a baby cot, but unfortunately we do not have any other extra beds available.
