Good hotel on the market square in Emden
The hotel "Deutsches Haus" is located right in the heart of Emden. The room is spacious and clean. Our room was renovated. The breakfast is varied and nothing is missing.
The hotel car park offers plenty of space and we were very grateful for it, but it is difficult to reach.
Unfortunately, the reception is only open for a limited time.

Great neighborhood in the center!
I was able to enjoy the German House for one night. The location is right on the market square with restaurants and a supermarket in the immediate vicinity. The service is great: nice, friendly and accommodating. The rooms are relatively recently renovated; with comfortable, large beds and large, clean bathrooms. The breakfast is also very extensive - everything is top notch. A small note about the (free) hotel parking lot: the sat nav finds it best if you enter "Lookvenne 5".

Decent family run hotel with small rooms in the center square of Emden
Actually the German Railway brought us to this hotel as I missed the ferry to Borkum. A chance to get to know Emden. Close to the Train Station in the market square. Lots of restaurants around the square and not far from the old harbour area with more places to hang out. Room is small but very well renovated, modern and clean. Reception was helpful and friendly. (No lift, so a bit challenging for me to bring my suitcase to the second floor) Good bed and I slept well after doing a tour around the square. For my taste too many Italian restaurants in the neighbourhood. Breakfast and coffee good - choices of bread, cold cuts, cheese, jam - abundant food. Just to stay for a night - perfect.

Clean
Clean room , central location and that is all. No lift , no restaurant . Definitely not for disabled people .Hard to get a cup of coffee after breakfast . Medium quality of WiFi signal on 2nd floor .Not coming back.
